Things Needed - Cipher Descaler, Scrubber, Clean Dry Cloth. Gloves (optional)

Directions for use:

1. Shake before use.
2. Dispense small quantity on scrubbing pad or sponge.
3. Spread the descaler over the entire surface and allow a few minutes for the lotion to penetrate all the marks.
4. With gentle pressure scrub the area thoroughly until the spots are covered.
5. Use water as necessary to aid the scrubbing action.
6. Polish dry the surface with lint free cloth to restore the original shine. Stainless steel - Rub with grain.
7. On surfaces with food contact, wash completely with clean water. Eg. Stainless Steel Flask.

*When in doubt, always test in an inconspicuous area before applying to the entire surface.

What is a descaler?

A descaler is a cleaning agent designed to remove mineral deposits, limescale, and other hard water residues from various surfaces.

Why is descaling important?

Foremost, it is the appearance. It gives an unclean appearance. So descaling is vital to get them back to their prime looks. Hardwater stains (is calcium carbonate) may also contain other impurities like magnesium carbonate. Failing to remove them affect the quality of your appliances. Hence, anything unnecessary / negating has to be removed.

Where can I use this product in my home?

The descaler is used on shower glass of bathrooms, any glass surface, chrome or SS fittings anywhere in your home, ceramic sink in bathrooms, tiles in the bathroom floors (note - do not use on the grout / sealing joint in between the tiles), stainless steel items like flasks, plastic buckets, mugs. Just look around your house. You'll be surprised to find many a use for this product!

Is this product safe to use on all surfaces?

Cipher Descaler is safe to use on surfaces that are resistant to acidic substances such as stainless steel, glass, ceramic, and plastic. Please perform a spot test in an inconspicuous area before applying the descaler to the entire surface.

Can this product remove rust stains?

Cipher Descaler may be effective at removing light rust stains, but they are primarily designed to target mineral deposits and limescale. For heavy rust stains, it's recommended to use a product specifically formulated for rust removal.

How often should I use a descaler?

The frequency of descaling depends on the hardness of your water and how often you use appliances and fixtures prone to mineral buildup. As a general guideline, it's recommended to descale appliances and fixtures every 1-3 months or as needed.

How to maintain after descaling?

Never Settle. This is the most important mantra to maintain surfaces after descaling. Never allow droplets to settle on the surface. Wipe surfaces dry as practical as possible. If not, evaporation of hard water droplets cause the white spots.
